A master’s thesis was discussed in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the College of Engineering at the University of Kerbala, entitled “Developing the performance of an open-source industrial platform with high capabilities and robust features using the ATMega328 microcontroller.”
Which was presented by researcher Nour Salim Johar
The goal of the thesis is to design and implement a highly adaptable, open-source platform product, called “Carduino0”. This product is designed as open source for future development and sustainability.
The results obtained through this thesis demonstrated the possibility of improving the design of microcontrollers in industrial applications, as the electrical power of the device was improved, and the mechanical properties such as vibration resistance, reliability of connection and connectors, and resistance to external conditions were improved in the new controller.
The thesis was approved by the discussion committee, which consisted of Assistant Professor Dr Ammar Abdul-Jabbar Abdul Razzaq (University of Kerbala, College of Engineering/Chairman), Assistant Professor Dr Ammar Adel Hassan (College of Engineering/University of Baghdad/member), and Assistant Professor Dr Yahya Jassim Harbi (College of Engineering /University of Kerbala/Member), Assistant Professor Dr Ali Fawzi Najm (College of Engineering/University of Kerbala/member and supervisor), And the teacher, Dr Ahmed Salman Al-Tu’ma (University of Kerbala / member and supervisor)
